His son, Anthony Logan, confirmed the news to PEOPLE, stating that his father died of natural causes on May 6th in Estero, Florida.

Logan’s family remembers him as the “embodiment of agape,” the Platonic ideal of love. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Los Angeles, Logan’s acting career began after being discovered by a talent scout. In addition to his well-known roles, Logan also starred in other films and TV shows such as Across the Great Divide and Dr. Kildare.
