ISLAMABAD (APP) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar will lead the Pakistan delegation at the oath ceremony of the President-elect of Iran Dr Masoud Pezeshkian to be held on Tuesday (today) in Tehran.

The visit attests to the commitment by the two countries to strengthen leadership-level engagement and bilateral cooperation, a statement issued by the Foreign Office said.

The Deputy PM is attending the ceremony after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif canclled his scheduled visit to Iran due to health conditions. Doctors have advised the PM to take rest.
