Republican nominee Donald Trump has urged his supporters to stop using Alphabet Inc.’s Google, calling the search engine “illegitimate” as he continues his critique of major tech companies.

“Something’s wrong with Google,” Trump declared in an interview with controversial streamer and celebrity Adin Ross on Monday.

“Everybody should maybe just go off Google, not use it.” Trump’s remarks follow claims from billionaire Elon Musk and others that Google is obstructing access to information about the former president.

Musk alleged a “search ban” on Trump, sharing an image showing Google’s auto-correct suggesting “donald duck” instead of “president donald.”

Trump Jr. has echoed similar concerns, accusing Google of “intentional election interference” in a post on X.

Trump’s interview with Ross, known for his controversial political views, attracted significant attention with 564,000 viewers on Kick.com.

The former president’s attack on Google is part of a broader strategy to engage voters through unconventional media, as he faces increasing competition from Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance, has also criticized Big Tech, questioning Meta’s ownership of Facebook and Instagram, as well as Google’s Gemini AI project.
