PTI Protest at D-Chowk,Roads to Islamabad Blocked, Mobile Services Suspended in twin cities

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf announced a protest today at D-Chowk Islamabad . To maintain peace and order local authorities have imposed Section 144 in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Islamabad police spokesperson stated that the police are actively engaged to protect peoples and property,urging the public to refrain from participating in any unlawful activities.

The police warned that strict action will be taken against anyone who disrupting public peace.

Due to protest mobile services also suspended in Rawalpindi and islambad,all routes connecting the twin cities have been blocked. Double-layered containers have been placed at Faizabad Bridge.various points along the Islamabad Expressway have also been sealed.police presence is deployed on routes connecting Rawalpindi to Islamabad.

The metro bus service in Rawalpindi halted until further notice. Additionally, motorcycle riding has been banned throughout the city.

CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani stated that special teams are on standby to address any disturbances, with no leniency for those damaging public or private property. CCTV cameras will be used to identify troublemakers, ensuring a firm response against any threats to peace.
